Moving...
« on: January 25, 2010, 01:20:13 pm »
Freddy1990.com will, somewhere during this or the next month move to a new server. This is due to some issues with the current hosting, also, during their takeover, a lot of servers were juggled around, a lot of software on this server broke which is why it's currently unstable at times. The new server runs perfectly and has everything in order. The forums will be upgraded to the newer and more efficient SMF2. These forums however, will be archived. It's uncertain, but possible that the user database will be kept on the new forums, I haven't quite worked out yet how I'm going to proceed. All SCAR related material will be moved to separated forums though.

if SCAR is moved, i think there will be even less activity sadly. Why bother doing so?

I'm expanding more into developing several different products, hence this forum should be more revolving around generic support for those products, all this rs stuff and scar scripts and stuff is way way too specific... I don't mind that people won't come here, scar will have it's own place, with a lot more support and directly tied into scar itself if all goes well...

I'd like to know which products. Is there anything big you are planning on?

SCAR is probably the best easy to use Color detection Bot out there. I have been using SCAR since quite long, I remember using it when I was still living in Germany (that was like 4 Years ago when I was 12). Back then I was so bad at programming... I remember my Scripts which weren't even randomized lol.

I remember that I was really confused where the Site of SCAR was... I always thought it's www.villavu.com or www.sythe.org , I also remember I was wondering who "Freddy1990" was (it always wrote something about "Freddy1990" in the Debug Box but I never really read it). I always went to villavu or sythe to download SCAR because I though one of them made it xD.

You should get a Website like www.scar.com or www.scar-divi.com or www.scar-luna.com or whatever you get the Idea :P, to avoid confusions.

I'll get my new site too, soon... as soon as I get 2,000 Credits from a "Get paid to" Website.
2,000 = $20
Cash-out is at $20...
I've got 1,964

A quick preview of my new Website :).

I'm having troubles with www.strato.de ... so I'll change the Server and Domain as soon as I have enough on my PayPal.
PS: A UDOB user Donated it to me :D, but the service is crap....

Anyways, I hope the new Forums will be awesome :D I will definitely join :P.

Well, currently the main products are without a doubt SCAR and Caderno... Both of which will be overhauled, SCAR with SCAR Luna and Caderno will be seriously adapted to work faster and more efficient... I'm also working on a java bytecode editor like JBE, but utilizing the ASM library rather than BCEL which is a lot faster and more efficient. I'll also be revamping FAWG-Online which is still active, but a bit broken at this time... http://freddy1990.com/fawg-online.php TIPad will hopefully return, somewhat finished... And I will resume work on the PowerSplit application I have been working on.

www.scar-luna.com is already in my possession :)

Also, this stato.de, be careful, cheap hosting is usually oversold and causes the server to log and have a lot of downtime...

Sounds like alot of work...

By the way, I never understood whats a Parser, what can you achieve with FAWG and FAWG-Online? Can you create a Runescape Bot with it or is it more Web-Bot based ect.?
The PowerSplit sounds good :P, I remember times when I was frustrated about a 710MB file xD, the CD could only carry 700MB lol.

Nice no more confusions about who made SCAR :P, www.scar-luna.com sounds good and is easy to remember.
By the way did you make that Lego thing yourself or did you find it on the net ^^?

strato.de is a fail... I can't login since... I don't know lol and it doesn't even give me an error that my password is wrong. I've sent them an Email about the matter and they replied to my 1 Line Email after 3 days... which was then a pointless reply from them where they didn't even answer my question. I'm not bothering with it anymore...

I'll probably just buy a new one at http://knownhost.com/shared-hosting.html . The best is that I can pay with PayPal :P.

FAWG just parsed the server prefixes and such so bots or webclients could load them easily...

I didn't build that lego thing myself :P I did turn it orange and added the text, lol...

Yea, knownhost is a good choice, they have excellent service, though you might also want to check out Surpass: http://www.surpasshosting.com/hosting-shared-solutions.php
Though their packages are huge, I've had a server with them for a year, which i had to discontinue because I couldn't afford renewing it... They have this valentine action to get a server for $1 for a year, I can vouch that it's no strings attached. it doesn't come with a domain of course, they've done this 3 years in a row, I don't see they would stop doing it this year, this is last year's page: http://www.surpasshosting.com/one-love-2009.php
If you wait a bit maybe you can get a server there for a year? Even if it is overselling, $1... And though I never actually actively used mine, I never had any complaints about it, and the customer service is excellent.

Thanks I never knew really what FAWG was for :P.

Well done, it doesn't look like you changed the color at all lol.

I'll try out Knownhost for a while and then I'll see.
