SCAR Divi 3.25 Announcement

As you all know, SCAR Luna 3.50 is being developed at this time. However, I don't want to give up on SCAR Divi just yet as the final version of SCAR Luna 3.50 will still take a while to be finished. So I'm going to give SCAR Divi a new coat of paint, crank up the version number a bit and make it completely compatible with Windows Vista/7. (And I'll also fix some bugs =P ) The first Alpha version should be done within a month at most.

Gah. Luna was a stepping stone between 4 and current. Now there's another intermediary. I guess it makes sense, but from what Icefire keeps saying, 3.5 isn't all that far away anyway. I mean if we're going to need to go through alpha and so forth of 3.25, is that really faster? since the first alpha of 3.5 is already out.

The final version of Luna is going to be a while before it's done, 3.25 is really just legacy support... Just stabilizing Divi a bit more and giving it a makeover. It allows me to test out some ideas for Luna that I can't implement in Luna yet too. By the end of this month 3.25 should be in the beta stage if all goes according to plan. 2 weeks later it should be released. Currently everyone is hovering between 3.22 and 3.23, it's kind of confusing.

Note: I'm taking development time for this out of other projects than Luna, so Luna's development won't be affected.

I'm still considering whether I should or shouldn't rewrite the entire editor so that everything works well again, but if I do I'll also have to rewrite the entire script engine front-end... I could take most parts I need from Luna, but it would take a few days to complete I recon...

Okay we're getting there.
I know it's SCAR, and what that stands for. I also know that 3.50 is the version.
But now the main part; what does the 'Luna' part refer to?

SCAR was originally made by Kaitnieks, then It ook over and the new generation of SCAR then called SCAR Divi. SCAR Luna is the next generation and SCAR Phoenix will be the one after that.
